i am still alive! have been busy quitting my job and starting to plan the move to chicago. this past weekend, my mom was in town and we drove all around town to look at venues for the big days. right now we are thinking next winter.
key buzz words for our "wedding vision" - cozy, rustic, winter, cute, simple, elegant but casual, lots of pink, comfort foods, hot cider, mistletoe, cocoa, coffee...
we must have seen at least 10 venues and my head is spinning. there are so many things to consider. ceremony and reception in one place? who has tables? BYO alcohol? how is parking? is the space too big? is the space too small? can we light candles? how much time? eek! more thoughts later. :)

I'm with you on this one!!! We are starting to semi-finalize our guest list so that we can get a head count. Then, we are going to check out some veunues. I have three or four top choices and hope they are good in person. Good luck!

always organizing - looking at venues is so fun! what i noticed was that pictures can be deceiving. there were places I thought I'd love based on photos and didn't and vice versa. it was nice to go on a saturday cause alot of the venues were setting up for weddings that day :0
